Indian
biggest festival is Akshaya Tritiya day celebrated every year – Now, this year
it came on Tuesday, 7th May 2019 and also another meaning of “Akshaya” is “one who
never vanishes or decreases”.
This
festival comes in the third Tithi (lunar day) of Bright Half (Shukla Paksha) of
Vaisakha (Chaitra) month.
How to
spell this word?
The
real spiritual meaning behind the name is “Akshaya Tritiya”, also known as “Akti”
or “Akha Teej”, is an annual spring time “festival of the Jains” and also Hindus.
It is
considered as one of the most important festival for Hindu community and mainly
for Arya Vysya as Arya Vysya’s are business people. This lucky day is believed
that any business or the construction of a building started on that day will
follow betterment and prosperity even these thing started on this day.
According
to them, Akshaya Tritiya festival day – Lord Ganesha, started writing the "Mahabharata". It is believed that
when the Pandavas were in exile the Lord presented them a bowl which was named
Akshaya Tritiya pathara this bowl always produces an unlimited amount of food
on demand at any time when they pray to God.
Akshaya
Tritiya festival day is also considered as golden day, everyone on this day
give gold and also buy gold and silver gifts to the whole family members and
bring good fortune.
It will
be a sign of good fortune for the business people also.
In the
Indian culture people typically starts a new business or begins a new venture
on Akshaya Tritiya and all weddings day plans starts on this day only Hindus
believes that it brings good fortune for their marriage life journey.

(Lord Krishna
and Sudama were friends during their childhood. Sudama was poor and he went to Krishna
to ask him for some financial help or to give him money as a gift as a friend.
Sudama did not have anything else except the pouch of Poha and he felt ashamed
when he gave it to Krishna as he treated Poha as a king.
His
poor friend was overwhelmed by the hospitality shown by the Lord Krishna that
he could not ask his friend for financial support which led him to go home empty-handed.
When he
arrived at his home he saw that his run-down hut was converted into a palace
and his family was wearing royal attire.
Sudama
knew that this was the blessing of his friend Krishna who blessed him with more
wealth than he needed or could ever imagine.

day,
People
pray to God Lakshmi and invite guest to home and give kumkum and turmeric as a memorable
gift.

they bring gold and silver and keep them in front of Goddess Lakshmi feet,
