The citizens of Arya Vysya
community or sangam in the town have given charity of gold for gift to Sri
Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari temple in form of gold saree. The saree weight is
6kgs of gold that which is celebrated on the event of Sri Vasavi Kanyaka
Parameshwari birthday.
Special Puja’s and pray’s of
Hindu Processions of Vasavi Matha, and celebrated at Markapur in a very glorious
and grand way. This is the first time that very expensive saree for Vasavi Matha
temple in Andhra Pradesh. Sri Devi Khadgamaala Stotram was done by 108 ladies
with kunkuma puja.
